ZION

Spent a week in Zion in the freezing cold. A lot of the park was closed off due to icy conditions, but the main valley was open to traffic. A few of my shots didn't turn out because storms kept obscuring shots or blowing over my camera. By the end of the week the sun came out and I was able to jam through a series of time lapses. The park was nearly empty and it was mostly photographers trudging through the snow.

One professional photographer gave me his business card for print making. He noticed I was shooting on Zeiss glass and told me about his visit to the German Zeiss facility. As a Zeiss fan, I was kind of geeking out about that. I met a lot of good people on this trip and traded Instagram accounts.
